When the tourist is in Montezuma can visit the beautiful waterfall Montezuma located just outside the town. With more than 50 feet in height, the waterfall is a very popular tourist attraction because a lot of people enjoy jumping into the waters that are not very deep. But it is important to notice that many people have been injured with the rocks that are below the water when they jump from the fall.
Always keep in mind that camping on the beaches of Montezuma is illegal, so get a room in one of the many accommodations that are here. Avoid visiting this region in high season because the cost of the rooms may be in some cases very high. However coming here definitely worth it. To get access to Montezuma the visitor need to take the ferry Puntarenas-Paquera and move to the place by car.
